Summer Concert- Quaker City String Band, with Auntie Anne's Pretzels Food Truck
The Marcus Hook Summer Concert Series will celebrate its thirty-seventh year when the 7-concert series begins on Tuesday evening June 27, 2023. Each year music lovers come out to sit back and relax, and enjoy the music that takes place along the banks of the scenic Delaware River at Marcus Hook’s beautiful Market Square Memorial Park. Concerts follow on consecutive Tuesday evenings at the park located at Market Street and Delaware Avenue. All programs begin at 7:00 PM.
Tuesday, August 8th with the Quaker City String Band. Since 1921, Quaker City String Band has
been favorite among thousands of spectators on New Years Day at the Philadelphia Mummer’s Parade. The members of Quaker City have used their creativity and innovative style to consistently be a top prize winner in the yearly String Band competition. The challenge of creating a different theme every year with new music, costumes and choreography is one that the Quaker City String Band gladly accepts, striving to out-do themselves annually. Quaker City has entertained the people of Cuba, Mexico, England, Canada, France, Ireland and Italy.
Marcus Hook Borough Council presents this year’s

Food and light refreshments are available for purchase at the park during the Summer Concert Series. This week we will have Auntie Anne's Pretzels Food Truck!
