Summer Concert- Fabulous Greaseband and National Night Out, with Tone's Spot BBQ and Kona Ice Truck
The Marcus Hook Summer Concert Series will celebrate its thirty-seventh year with the 7-concert series. Each year music lovers come out to sit back and relax, and enjoy the music that takes place along the banks of the scenic Delaware River at Marcus Hook’s beautiful Market Square Memorial Park. Concerts follow on consecutive Tuesday evenings at the park located at Market Street and Delaware Avenue. All programs begin at 7:00 PM.
On August 1st is a crowd favorite; the Fabulous Greaseband, which is a seven member “Best of 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Party Band”. Their highly entertaining and energetic delivery of the greatest dance songs ever written has kept the group on top for the last 48 years!
Also on hand for the August 1st concert will be the Marcus Hook Police Department for National Night Out, which is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
Marcus Hook Borough Council presents this year’s Series with support from the following sponsors: Energy Transfer, The Jacono Family, Alan McIlvain Company, Monroe Energy, PECO and Prologis.
