Marcus Hook Recycling Drop-off Center Dedication Ceremony
Marcus Hook Borough will hold a dedication ceremony on October 19, 2022 at 12:00 PM. The event celebrates the completion of the new Marcus Hook Recycling Drop-off Center, sponsored by Braskem. The new Center replaces the one that was formerly housed at the old FMC Building site. This event is open to the public.
The dedication will feature remarks by Stephanie Whitesell, Plant Manager of Marcus Hook, and will be followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony and photo opportunity with Swoop from the Philadelphia Eagles!
The Recycling Drop-off Center will accept
glass, cardboard, paper and plastics. There is an igloo specifically for household plastic items made from polypropylene (like yogurt cups, margarine containers, medicine bottles, take out containers), a green dumpster for glass items, and another for paper/cardboard items. The dumping of larger items is strictly prohibited. The Center is available to anyone in the Marcus Hook area. It will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.This event will take place at Recycling Drop-off Center at the Municipal Building located at 1111 Market Street, Marcus Hook, PA.
