Job Opportunity- Finance Director

Finance Director -The Borough of Marcus Hook is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Finance Director.

This position is responsible for most financial and budgeting functions of the Borough and plays an integral role in assisting the Borough Manager achieve the Borough’s financial and operating objectives. The position reports directly to the Borough Manager. Applicants should possess knowledge of local government finance and accounting. A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible work experience related to the responsibilities of the positon are required. Candidates should have knowledge and specific experience with financial software systems.

The Finance Director will be responsible for all financial activities including, but not limited to, Budget preparation, AP, AR, payroll activities, grant financing, journal entries, coordinating audit activities, financial reporting and maintenance of financial records.
