Prologis distribution/warehouse project - Construction Update:
Currently working on sitework including:
o Retaining walls and outlet piping for above ground stormwater retention basins
o Public utility piping and tie ins along and adjacent to 10th Street and new Penn Avenue
o Ground improvements
o Finishing underground demolition
o Earthwork for building pad and underground stormwater retention basin
Upcoming Activities:
o Building foundations to start in July
o Wall panels and steel to start August/September
o Continue sitework, utilities, building through the fall
o Right turn lane extension along 10th Street to start this summer (need old gas regulating station demo’ed by PECO, anticipating this done by July)
o Overall building substantial completion for the shell work in spring 2024 (this timing could adjust depending on when a Tenant comes on board and what potential changes they want, which cannot be anticipated at this time).
In the lobby of the Municipal Building at 1111 Market Street are two renderings of the Prologis distribution/warehouse building: a northeast entrance and southwest entrance. Also displayed are two material sample boards showing the fence pier’s material, viscose signage, and warehouse building facade color samples.
