Lead-based Paint Testing and Removal Grant Program

Marcus Hook Borough attended a grant kickoff meeting at Yeadon Borough yesterday for the purpose of providing grant dollars to residents in Delaware County, with a focus on Marcus Hook Borough, to test for and remove lead paint in your home or property that you rent. Below is paperwork detailing the grant program, administered by Community Action Agency (CAA) as well as the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD), along with the guidelines for eligibility. The County is estimating approximately 60 homes will be able to be funded for lead testing and removal during this round of funding, so if you think your home or property you rent has lead paint, please reach out to CAA at 610-352-5555 or OHCD at 610-891-5425 to begin the application process as soon as you can.
