Borough of Marcus Hook Examination for Full Time Police Officer

 

 

Applicants must appear in person with a valid driver's license to the Marcus Hook Borough Police Station, 1015 Green Street, Marcus Hook PA, Monday thru Friday, ONLY between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:00PM to obtain an application. A completed application MUST be returned by the applicant no later than 4:00PM, on Friday April 5, 2024.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  1. United States citizenship.
  2. All applicants must have reached their eighteenth (18th) birthday before the deadline for submitting completed applications.
  3. Birth Certificate, high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and honorable military discharge (if applicable) must be presented at the time of filing application.
  4. Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a Police Officer.
  5. Must have completed and passed the police officers’ training course approved by the Municipal Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) as set forth in 53 Pa. C.S. § 2161 et seq. at the time of examination.

 

Any applicant failing to meet any of these requirements will be declared ineligible to take the Civil Service Examination.
