10 Sep 18th Annual Pirate Festival- Sat. Sept. 19th at Market Square Memorial Park

Come on down to the riverfront and celebrate the Marcus Hook Preservation Society’s 18th Annual Pirate Festival! They’ll have vendors, food trucks, crafters, mermaids, live music and a living pirate encampment- complete with cannons, black powder firearms, and more! Fun for all ages! While you’re here, stop by and visit the oldest house in Marcus Hook, The Plank House. Local lore says the pirate Blackbeard frequented Marcus Hook, and would stay at this house. You can catch up on the archeological finds, and paranormal investigations happening there!
